This August 25th to 30th in Armenia we will have a great convention! All you need to do is to come! 1- Wine festival and competition! Any Assyrian who can come and bring a sample of their wine is welcome! we will have judges to select the best wine! Both European and Assyrian wines! The winner will get a great gift! (I hope it was possible to brin Urmia's wine there but if not, Arzni and Verin Dvin in Armenia and Kanda in Georgia are just as good!) 2- Assyrian chefs will taste your best Dolma, Kiptee, Nipokhta! and other Assyrian recipes! The winners in each category will be presented with the honoring title and prizes. 3- Assyrian artistic talents will be put to test! Young and old singers, dancers and other stage artists will be given time to show their talents. We hope a lot of talented youth from Armenia and sounding countries can show us their magnificent art and talents. 4- Chess competition and other sport competitions if we be able to manage them. This is the very first Assyrian International Convention and we are not sure if we can also host football and other sports but Chess will definitely be there! you can play remote from anywhere in the world or be there in person and win the prestigious title of the Assyrian Chess champion! Let's have the best International Assyrian Shahrah in Armenia Aug 25th to 30th this year! of course these will happen in between our official business of holding Assyrian National Assembly which is open to all Assyrians of the world and it is to elect new members to the Assyrian Parliament and update the bylaws of the institution. I need your help if you are a food expert, entertainment expert and and enthusiastic Assyrian who like to have a blast this Summer in Armenia.
